Kirk and Wendy

This is a section dedicated to our pets, living and gone.

This is Kiwi, the old man of the house (5.5 years old), doing what he does best - fitting his body into boxes of any size and shape. Another good one of Kiwi holding down a pile of clothes.

This is Buttons (b. 1997- d. 2003), quite possibly the sweetest cat ever. We adopted Buttons and Kiwi at the same time from the Alexandria Animal Shelter in May 1998.

Kiwi and Buttons hanging out on the kitchen counter. Don't worry - we don't cook on that side of the kitchen. Good pic of Buttons doing what he does best - snoozing.

Buttons and Wendy together. This was taken just a few weeks from Button's passing. Unfortunately, Buttons died of cancer, but he lived well over the last few weeks of his life on a steady diet of wet food and McDonald's French Fries.

This is Belle - our high maintenance cat. She's actually a dog, but she was raised by Kiwi, so she plays like a cat, bounces off of furniture like a cat, but can't use a litter box. Belle came into our life over Christmas of 1999. Another shot of Belle - the Schipperke mix. Kind of looks like a cross between a Black Lab and a Chi-hua-hua.

Princess Belle - relaxing atop her kingdom of pillows. All hail Princess Belle!

This is Spottswood, adopted on 3 November 2003. He's an orange-striped tabby manx (born without a tail). Spottswood is just 10 weeks old here.

Spottswood getting very sleepy after an evening of tearing ass around the house. Kiwi - giving Spottswood a taste. Hmmmmm - cat butt.

Me holding Kiwi and Spottswood. Can't you tell how much they like it? This is our newest addition, Isabelle - aka "Izzy." We adopted her in May 2004.

Here's Spottswood in his favorite position...lounging on Kiwi. Can't you tell how much Kiwi likes it? Here's Izzy lounging in a Christmas wreath.
